A lifelong resident of Orlando, Keith Severns has developed an impressively diverse curriculum vitae. His myriad areas of expertise combine to give him an unrivaled edge in real estate development and real estate management. Starting out as a construction estimator in 1978, he quickly progressed to construction manager, and, after receiving his Florida General Contractor’s license in 1987, became co-owner of a design build firm Contemporary Builders of Orange County. After many years of success, in 1995, Keith started his own commercial contracting and development company, KNS Construction. Among other accolades, the firm was the recipient of two Golden Brick awards, 1988 and 2009. Keith’s specialty is creating designs and architectural plans for his clients, and then bringing their vision to reality. In March of 2012, Keith became the City administrator of the City of Belle Isle. During his four year tenure with the City, Keith had the unique opportunity to develop a K-12 Charter School. The property was negotiated and purchased out of bankruptcy by securing a 10.5 million dollar revenue bond. Keith also brought the real estate into code compliance and provided property management services during this time. Keith has worked with and is well respected by some of the state’s most influential attorneys, bankers, real estate managers, developers, architects, and engineers, as well as politicians and department heads at the State, County and local levels. With his construction, development and government experience, Keith is capable of handling all aspects of locating, acquiring, financing, entitling, designing, constructing, and managing real estate.
